London, Jemima Goldsmith, the ex-wife of Prime Minister Imran Khan, explained the reason for leaving Pakistan in the latest interview. Jemima claimed that she had to leave Pakistan because of political reasons against her. Cases were being made and they were being used to target Imran Khan. According to media reports, Jemima talked to the British newspaper The Evening Standard about her upcoming show ‘The Impeachment’ and also talked about her private life.
“I was married to a man much older than me who was politically powerful And I was being targeted for harming him, “she said.” I was threatened with imprisonment on political grounds.
In an interview, Jemima also spoke about the benefits of arranged marriages and said that when she was in Pakistan, arranged marriages were arranged. And the children of her husband’s friends used to say that they were ready to have an arranged marriage, but it was necessary to include Jemima.
The ex-wife of the Prime Minister further said that she knows that forced marriage is a different thing  but she saw ‘assisted marriage’ succeed. Jemima said that when she went to Pakistan, she considered the arranged marriage to be an old and crazy idea And she believed in romantic relationships, but when she returned to the UK after living in Pakistan for ten years, she saw some benefits in an arranged marriage.
